⋰ Doors open at 19.15 and close promptly at 19.45. Please note entry after 19.45 isn’t possible.
⋰ Welcome + 5Rhythms Warm-up: We will begin the evening with a full 5Rhythms wave – 5 fundamental life energies (rhythms) through the dance. The music is played like a “wave” where it goes up and comes back down again.
⋰ Album Dance: After our warm-up and a gentle transition for water etc, we will move to one full album.
⋰ Take it Further - Gathering after class: Once the official dance is over, we open the space for all who want to stay and connect. There will be snacks, opportunities for exchange and spaces for quiet reflections, too.
⋰ No phones: To allow for greatest spontaneity, creativity and freedom of expression, no phones on the dance floor.

On a snowy day, there is a special sound of silence. The music of this sound ignites our senses in different ways. I love how snow creates a world between worlds and inspired by the nature alive today in Berlin, we will explore how tuning into the space in between speaks to us, moves us, enlivens us.

it`s been snowing in berlin. i ♥️ snow. i love what it does to my senses: what i see, hear, feel, touch and taste is so different in snowy whiteness.
it takes time to get ready to go out in the snow and relish in it fully. it takes time to walk in the snow. it takes time to orient in the snowy parks.
stretching time vertically with nature.
and these 4days of snow on the ground - i let it inform me, the way i move, the music i am called to listen to, the food i eat ........
with that today, i had a H U G E dance .... but to the outer eye, well, perhaps it looks a bit more subtle

⚘ I am in a sea of gratitude with an undercurrent of deep love, waves of sadness, immense joy, humility and awe.
Tuesday, December 16 marked the last day of the KIX project (as we know it today). And together - with the courageous beings who have dared to show up to explore their compulsions, addictions and walk the path of recovery - we ended well.
The last two days, I have danced so much in my body, but very much in my soul.
⚘ KIX is my heart project that began March 2020 in Laborgras. It weaves together various disciplines and my deeply personal and professional journey in addiction recovery. I have witnessed beautiful transformations - not always pretty but inevitably beautiful, raw and powerful. Some of us have journeyed together for these entire 5+ years.
There might be a thought that this project is “for others” but never for a moment have I stepped out of the experience of humility - me too being in recovery, me too meeting my demons, me too being vulnerable, me too falling down and getting up again.
We walk the recovery path - a path of freedom from self-defeating thoughts x behaviors x feelings :
T O G E T H E R.

More to come on what this project was for me …. rebirth is inevitable but first, we must let die what must die and open up to the empty space for the rebirth.
